Obituary for David Olson

David Olson
David C. Olson, 67, of Cicero, died unexpectedly Friday, October 27, 2017. David was born in Buffalo NY, the son of the late Alexander S. and Marianne (Osieja) Olson. He graduated from Maryvale High school in Cheektowaga, NY, received his undergraduate degree from Buffalo State College and his Masters Degree in Education from Syracuse University.

David was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a retired teacher. He was employed by Hutchings Psychiatric Center and the Syracuse City School District.

He was predeceased by his two sisters, Barbara Olson and Catherine Anderson.

David is survived by his wife, Antoinette "Toni" Gonnella; his son, Alexander Olson; two sisters: MaryAnn (Michael) Venezia of Buffalo and Lisa (Philip) Rongo of Boca Raton, FL; and by his nieces and nephews: Michael and Anne Venezia, Philip and Charles Rongo, and Christopher and Eric Anderson.

Friends may call on Saturday, November 11, from 2 -3 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale, with a service following at 3 pm.
