Florian "Flo" Gentile, 68, of Mattydale, died Sunday, April 29. Flo was born in Syracuse to the late Sebastian Harriet (Banach) Gentile. He was a 1968 graduate of North Syracuse High School who resided in Mattydale most of his life. Flo worked as a self-employed contractor and was a music connoisseur. Flo enjoyed racing car and motorcycles.
He was predeceased by a sister, Maria Gentile, in 2013.
Flo is survived by a son, Aaron (Alisha) Gentile of Houston, TX and a daughter, Michelle Tortura of Brewerton; his brother: Thomas Gentile of Mattydale; and a grandson, Xander.
A Memorial Celebration will be held in the summer at a time TBA.
