Obituary for Patrick F, Morris Jr.

Patrick F,  Morris Jr.
Patrick F. Morris, Jr. 90, of Liverpool, died Friday at Loretto Cunnimgham. Patrick was born in Tampa, Florida and raised on the North side of Syracuse where he graduated from Central High School in 1946. He attended Syracuse University and graduated from the NYC College of Technology. He was the son of the late Margaret (Gallagher) and Patrick F. Morris, Sr.
Patrick retired in 1987 after 37 years as a draftsman from General Electric Company in Liverpool. He also owned and operated the Oneida Pines Campground in Sylvan Beach for 30 years until 2010. He was a longtime member of St. Margaret's Church where he volunteered at their Bingo.
Patrick is survived by his wife of 66 years, the former Ruth A. Scorson; their three sons: Patrick M. (Krista) Morris of E. Falmouth, MA, David W. (Anne) Morris of Sea Girt, NJ, and James B. (Cynthia) Morris of Clay; a sister: Mary Anita Klinko of Liverpool; his five grandchildren: Patrick, Kara, Kate, Kelly, and Chelsea; by two great granddaughters, Michaela and Caroline; as well as many cousins.
Contributions in Patrick's memory may be made to either St. Margaret's Church, 203 Roxboro Rd., Mattydale, NY 13211 or to the Loretto Foundation, 1305 Nottingham Rd., Jamesville, NY 13078.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:30 am at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale, followed by a prayer service. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am at St. Margaret's Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt.
