Valerie A. Swain, 65, died Friday, April 5, 2019 at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse. Born in Watertown, Valerie grew up in the Jefferson County area.
She formerly worked at Northeast Filter and The Post Standard. Valerie loved fishing especially in Oneida Lake and was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church.
She was predeceased by her mother, Frances Roberson, in 2007.
Valerie is survived by her daughters: Velvet (Jeffrey) Frani-Putman of Liverpool and Katrina (Justin) Hadcock of Syracuse; two brothers, Ronald and Joseph Demar; grandchildren: Maria, Gabrielle, Hannah, Jacob, Sienna
Services will be at a time TBA. Valerie says “That’s all folks!”
