John H. "Big Foot/Boots" Kelley

John H. Kelley, 79, of Mattydale, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2020 at his home. John was born in Hornell, NY and was the son of the late William D. and Doris Vandenburg Travis Kelley. He was employed by the Town of Salina Highway Dept as a heavy equipment operator after more than 30 years. John was a former Lieutenant of the Fire Police and life retired member of the Mattydale Volunteer Fire Dept. and a member of the Toad Harbor and North Shore Rod & Gun Clubs.

John is survived by his wife, the former Lisa M. Hart; two daughters: Catherine Lape of Spring Hill, FL and Tammy Kelley of Mallory, NY; a half-brother, Dick Travis of Addison, NY; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and his godson, Gianni Pealo.

Friends may call on Saturday, October 17 from 3:00 - 6:00 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale, with a Funeral Service following at 6: 00 pm. Face coverings will be required, and CDC & NYS Dept. of Health guidelines will be enforced.
