Mary E. Pawlewitz

August 4, 1937 — October 14, 2020

Mary Elizabeth Pawlewitz, 83, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital with her loving husband of 62 years, Leonard, and her daughters by her side. Mary retired after many years as an abstractor with Monroe Abstract. She was a communicant of St. Margaret’s Church.

Mary resided in Liverpool for many years with her husband where they raised three beautiful daughters. In her younger, healthier years, she enjoyed shopping, gardening, decorating, and re-decorating until her heart’s content but most recently would get great pleasure in just sitting on her deck, soaking up some rays, watching the birds and admiring her beautiful backyard. Most of all, her greatest joy was spending time with her daughters, her 8 grandchildren and her 4 great grandchildren. She leaves with us all so many wonderful and fond memories that we will cherish always and a beautiful smile we will never forget.

Mary was predeceased by her only sister, Nancy Kosters.

In addition to her loving husband, Leonard, Mary is survived by her three daughters: Leanne (Richard) Greiner of North Syracuse, Lenise (George) Galster of Liverpool, and Laurie Berry of Sarasota, FL; eight grandchildren: Erin (Chris) Seabrook, Amanda (Cody) Vandervort, Sam (Rebecca) Galster, Bryan and Chelsea Galster, Jaden, Chad and Leeland Berry; and four great grandchildren: Shayne and Collin Masello, Quinn Vandervort, and Brayden Corp.
