Jacqueline (Taylor) Abriel, 90, formerly of Maple Lane in North Syracuse, died Monday, March 26, at Seneca Hill Manor in Oswego. Born in Syracuse to the late Earl and Dorothy (DeDell) Taylor, Jackie was a 1944 graduate of North Syracuse High School. She was a longtime resident of the Hinsdale and North Syracuse areas and wintered in DeLand, Florida for many years with her late husband, Bill. More recently, she resided at Springside Apartments in Oswego since 2010.
Jackie worked for NY Central Railroad as a secretary during the late 1940's. She retired from North Syracuse Central Schools in 1982 after 10 years as the secretary to the Superintendent of Maintenance. She attended Andrews Memorial Church and was a member of their Women's Sewing Circle. Jackie also attended Lake Helen Congregational Church in FL.
She was predeceased by her husband of 34 years, Roy Ingerson, in 1980, by her husband of 27 years, William "Bill" Abriel, in 2009, and by a grandson, James Abriel in 2011.
Jackie is survived by three children: Karen (Joseph D.) Campbell of Kirkville, Kevin (Marian) Ingerson of Newfield, and Rev. Steven (Sabine) Ingerson of Minetto; two step-children: Jeanne Abriel of San Diego, CA and William L. (Evangeline) Abriel of Orinda, CA; 9 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Funeral Services are Wednesday, 11 am, at the funeral home with a gathering following in the Community Room. Burial will be held Thursday, 1 pm, at Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery, Warners.
