Evelyn Anderson

Evelyn L. Schlie Anderson, 88, formerly of Elbow Road, North Syracuse, died Monday at Loretto Cunningham. Evelyn was the daughter of the late Frederick Schlie and Laura Fix and resided in the Syracuse area all her life.
Evelyn worked as a waitress for 30 years at Ma & Pa’s Inn in North Syracuse and since had worked at Ormond’s for five years. She was a former member of Luther Memorial Lutheran Church.
Evelyn was predeceased by her husband of 52 years; Carl O. Anderson in 1993, her son, Fred Anderson in 1996 and her great granddaughter, Ashling O'Brien in 2006.
Surviving are her two daughters, Karleen Kruger, of North Syracuse and Laureen Thomas Goettel, of Cicero; her seven grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
Friends may call Friday from 4-8pm at Krueger Funeral 2619 Brewerton Rd. Mattydale. Services are Saturday, 10:00am at the funeral home. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery. Contribution may be made to NAVAC, PO Box 215, North Syracuse NY 13212.
