Andrew A. Seymour

Andrew "Andy" A. Seymour, 50, life resident of Mattydale, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023. Andy was a loving father and loyal friend. He graduated from Bishop Grimes High School in 1990 and went on to work at Land Air Express before joining Lockheed Martin as a senior assembler for the past five years.

Andy was much more than just his career. He was known for being the first to help friends and neighbors with their home projects as an accomplished handyman. He had many hobbies that he enjoyed doing in his free time; he loved playing pitch at Home Base and Cerio's and was an avid Dallas Cowboys, Boston Bruins, and S.U. football fan. Andy also had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening. His pride in these skills showed through the work he did on his home and yard.

In 2014, Andy lost his father, Alvah "Al" Seymour.

He is survived by his soulmate Rebecca "Becky" Cleveland; and three children: Mackhenzie, Harper, and Amelia. Additionally, he is survived by his mother, Mary Louise Seymour of Mattydale; two brothers, J. Scott (Naomi) of Port St. Lucy, FL, and Todd (Jennifer) of Brewerton; and by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws; and friends.

Friends may call on Thursday, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Road in Mattydale, with a Vigil Service and Words of Remembrance to conclude the visitation. His funeral service will begin on Friday, 10:00 am, at the funeral home followed by entombment at Woodlawn Mausoleum, Syracuse. The family requests you honor Andy by wearing a Hawaiian shirt or blue/purple shirts.
