Anne Marie Spinelli

Anne Marie Spinelli, 82, of Mattydale, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Crouse Hospital. Born on January 2, 1942, in Auburn, Anne Marie was the daughter of the late Luke and Mary (Bove) Spinelli.

Anne Marie earned her associate degree in business from Bryant and Stratton. She had a long career at MONY Financial before retiring as a supervisor. Not one to rest idle, she found great joy in volunteering her time and skills after retiring. Anne Marie would often be found in the kitchen at the Sisters of St. Francis, cooking delicious meals that brought comfort to those in need. She was a longtime member of St. Margaret’s Church where she worked as their accountant and volunteered with the youth groups.

In her spare time, Anne Marie enjoyed crafting and visiting and participating in craft fairs. Her creativity knew no bounds as she poured love into every piece she made. Aside from her professional accomplishments and hobbies, Anne Marie cherished her relationships with family and friends. 

She was predeceased by a brother, David Spinelli and a nephew, Joshua Spinelli. Surviving are her beloved partner of 29 years, Joanne Fuller; two brothers, Boyce (Chris) Spinelli of CT and Mark (Carol Krueger) Spinelli of Cicero; and her nieces and nephews: Danielle (David Lockhart) Spinelli, Lucas Spinelli, Leanne Parker, and Joelle (Michael) Brohen, all of CT.

Friends may call on Friday, 2/9, from 4:00 -7:00 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. A Prayer Service will begin Saturday, 2/10, 9:30 am at the funeral home with a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial following in St. Margaret’s Church.
