Ashley J. Farino

March 29, 1985 — May 9, 2024

Cicero

Ashley J. Farino, fondly known as Ash, passed away unexpectedly on May 9, 2024, in Syracuse. She attended Liverpool High School with the class of 2003 and then moved to Florida before relocating to the Mattydale area in 2019. She most recently worked in the deli department at Wegman's in East Syracuse.

Ash was truly a cat whisperer at heart, finding solace and joy in the company of feline friends. An avid artist, Ash channeled her creative energy into all types of painting. Her love for nature led her to hike through serene landscapes. Astrology also held a special place in Ash's heart, and she enjoyed rollerblading.

She was predeceased by her mother, Deborah Farino and maternal grandmother, Donna Farino. Surviving is her grandfather, Mike Farino of Cicero with whom she resided for many years; father, Tony Romano of Eastwood; sisters, Taylor and Margie of Florida; three stepsisters: Michelle, Leanne, and Rachel; stepbrothers: Dan and Anthony; a niece, Rosie and a nephew, Anikin; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends may call on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, from 5:00 - 6:00 PM at Krueger Funeral Home in Mattydale, followed by a Service of Remembrance at 6:00 PM.
