Sarah Baker

Sarah "Little Gramma" Baker, 95, died Sunday, January 8, 2017, at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse. Born on the South side of Syracuse, Sarah resided in Mattydale since 1971. She was the daughter of the late Harvey and Julia (Hickey) Haines.
Sarah attended the Salvation army Adult Day center as well as the devotional services provided there. She always enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Surviving are her children: William Baker of Mattydale, Harvey (Linda) Baker of Cicero, Beverly McEwen of Mattydale, and Janice Grenga of Mattydale; her 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren; and her faithful companion, her cat, Koda.
Contributions in Sarah's memory may be made to the family, c/o Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Road, Mattydale, NY 13211.
Friends may call on Saturday from 11 am-12 pm at Krueger Funeral Home. Services will follow at 12:00 pm.
