Paul Boileau, 83, of North Syracuse, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2014, at home. Paul was a native of Beauharnois, Quebec, Canada, who resided in Syracuse for 20 years prior to moving to North Syracuse in 1976. He was the son of the late Albert and Yvonne (Montsion) Boileau.
Paul retired in 1990 after 27 years with the Fisher Guide Division of General Motors. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge # 625 , Solvay, the Phoenix Gun Club and the Phoenix Snow Drifters. Paul enjoyed camping, boating, cruising, fishing, hunting and snowmobiling. He was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church.
He was predeceased by his four brothers: Leo, Theodore, Henry, and Edgar Boileau.
Paul is survived by his wife of 64 years, the former Margaret (O'Neil); their two children: Susan (Bret) Oliver of Vancouver Island, BC and Donald (Linda) Boileau of PA; his siblings: Jeannette (Richard) Martel, Dorine (Moe) Secours, and Lucien, Marcel, and Richard (Lise) Boileau; two grandchildren, Amanda (Ben) and Logan (Candace) Oliver; his five great grandchildren: Kaleb, Bella, Dayton, Nevaeh, and Koda; his sisters-in-law, Rogene and Carol; as well as many nieces and nephews and dear friends.

Friends may call on Saturday from 10 am - 12:30 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale, with a funeral service following at 12:30 pm.
