Lucille J. Bordonaro, 69, of West Monroe, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Lucille grew up the Mattydale area and resided most of her life in West Monroe. She was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Kolodzie) Czyz.
Lucille worked for over 35 years as an Art teacher at Onondaga Hill Middle School in the Westhill Central School District before retiring in 2000. She was a member of the North Shore Women's Golf League in Cleveland and of the Burning Ridge Women's Ridge Runners League in Myrtle Beach, SC. Lucille was an animal lover who loved her dogs, Axl, Pilot and Nash with her whole heart.
In addition to her parents, Lucille was predeceased by her sister, Marilyn Lauber.
She leaves behind her husband of 37 years, Richard Bordonaro of West Monroe; a sister, Ruth Anne Massett of Chittenango; nieces and a nephew.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale, NY. Prayers will begin at the funeral home at 9:30 am on Thursday followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at10:00 am in St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial will be in Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse.
