Constance Brooks

Constance ?Connie? L. Brooks, 64, of Pennellville died Monday at A. Lee Memorial Hospital in Fulton. Born in Syracuse to the late Louis and Margaret Brown, she grew up in Mattydale. She resided in the Syracuse area for many years before moving to Pennellville 20 years ago.
Connie retired in 1991 after 18 years with the Learbury Clothing Co. in Syracuse. She was a member of St. Margaret?s RC Church in Mattydale, a member of the TOPS support group in Phoenix and a former member of the Pennellville Volunteer Fire Dept.
Surviving are her husband of 44 years Robert, three children Robert W. and Joanna Brooks Jr., Cathleen Brooks both of Pennellville, Mary Ann Scheel of Rome, a sister Nanette O?Reilly of Mattydale, two brothers Gerald Brown of Mattydale, Judson Brown of Fresno, CA, 8 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 pm Friday at the Krueger Funeral Home 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale, followed by a funeral services at 7 pm. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Contributions may be made to the American Lung Association 1620 Burnet Ave. Syracuse, NY 13206.
