Melody A. Brown

Melody A. Brown, 68, of Breman Ave in Mattydale, died Monday, October 7th, 2019 at Van Duyn Home and Hospital. Born and raised in Newark NY, Melody was the daughter of the late William and Matilda (Scutella) Lenhart. She was a graduate of Newark High School Class of 1969 and resided most of her life in Newark before moving to Mattydale 10 years ago.

Melody worked for 15 years at NY State School in Newark, NY. She was a telemarketer for C. Michael Exteriors in Syracuse for the past 10 years. Melody was an avid supporter of the Oneida Indian Nation and a fan of the Buffalo Bills and NY Yankees.

Melody is survived by her sons, Brandon and Ryan Dingman, both of Newark; a sister, Marsha (Eric) Mathewson of Mattydale; five brothers: William (Alicia) Lenhart of Morrisville, Walter (Carol) Lenhart of West Palm Beach, FL, Barney (Mary) Lenhart of Tampa, FL, Mark (Lori) Lenhart of North Carolina, and Matthew (Terri) Lenhart of Tampa, FL; and by several nieces and nephews.

All services were held privately and at the convenience of the family.
