Frances Bruno

Frances R. Passarello Bruno, 86, of North Syracuse, beloved wife, mother and grandmother entered into heaven surrounded by her loving family on Sunday. She was born in Auburn, where she grew up, and later met her husband Henry of 66 years.
Frances worked at the General Electric Co. and at Tops Supermarket, and resided in Mattydale for many years where she raised her family, before moving to Heidelberg, Germany and then to Virginia. She and Henry spent their enjoyable retirement years in Florida before moving back to the Syracuse area in 1999 to be near their family.
In addition to her husband, Frances is survived by five daughters: Carolyn Holden Chris Lorence of Texas, Christina John Sobecki of Virginia, Francine Tom Camino of Syracuse, Mary Bill Mocarski of Baldwinsville, Patti Jack Silvia of Liverpool, a sister-in-law Corene Bruno of Waterloo, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 pm Wednesday at Krueger Funeral 2619 Brewerton Rd. Services are 10:30 am Thursday at the funeral home and 11 am in St. Margaret's Church, both in Mattydale. Burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Clay. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Margaret's School, 201 Roxboro Rd. Mattydale, NY 13211.
