Nicholas Buck, 32, passed away as the victim of homicide on Monday, June 7th. Nick resided most of his life in the Mattydale and Liverpool areas.
Many people have already reached out to family to share how great of a person Nick was. Nick was always available to lend a helping hand whether it be fixing your car, your kitchen sink, or any other household repair. Nick was truly a jack of all trades. Nick was just finding his love for cooking.
Nick enjoyed outdoor hikes, walks, swimming, fishing and especially boating. Nick loved to spend time at family BBQ's where everyone was family, not necessarily by blood. Nick was a wonderful and caring father. Nick also was a great caretaker to anyone in need. He never went long without bragging about his amazing children. Nick never held stock in material items, His value was always placed on his family. Nick was never one to hold a grudge, he was the ultimate peacemaker. Nick would make light of any situation. He was always quick with a joke. If you knew Nick, you knew his warm smile and infectious laugh.
Nick was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Richard K. Buck.
Nick is survived by his son, Trenton and twin daughters, Nicole and Kellie; his parents, Andrew and Christina Buck; four siblings: Cassandra (Burt) Neil of Liverpool, Christopher Buck of Syracuse, Danielle (Angel Ross) Buck of North Syracuse, and Gregory (Gary Ewan) Buck of Liverpool; a paternal grandmother, Louise Buck of Liverpool; his maternal grandfather, Charles Lamphere of Rome; 5 nieces and nephews: Christee, Cameron, Nathan, Kailey and Jamerson; and by several cousins. Nick also had many friends that are considered family, such as Eric Campbell and Casey Pfeffer.

Friends may call Sunday from 12:00 - 4:00 PM at Krueger Funeral Home, Mattydale. Funeral Services will begin Monday, 11:00 AM, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
