David P. Buckley, II, 24, lifelong resident of North Syracuse died unexpectedly Sunday. David attended North Syracuse Central Schools and was employed by Rite Aid in Liverpool as a warehouse worker for the past two years. Prior to that, he was a hazardous materials handler for Paragon Environmental Construction in Brewerton. David loved to fish, listening to music and was a collector of wolf and dragon figurines. He was a communicant of St. Thomas and Trinity Episcopalian Church.
David was predeceased by his grandparents, Dick and Phyllis Buckley and Edward Jammen.
Surviving are his mother: Mae E. Jammen Buckley of North Syracuse; his father: David P. Debra Buckley of West Monroe; one sister: Erin J. Denis of North Syracuse; two step-sisters: Tammy Dempsey of Cicero and Cynthia Hiller of Pennellville; his two grandmothers: Sadie Jammen of North Syracuse, and Maryann Bridenbaker of Mattydale; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may call Thursday from 4-7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home Inc., 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Services are Friday, 10:30 am at the funeral home.
