David L. Burton, 58, of Syracuse, died Wednesday at University Hospital. David was born in Buffalo, NY and spent most of his life in Syracuse. He was the son of the late William R. Burton and Anita J. Campbell.
David was a veteran of the US Army and an accomplished artist with his drawing ability.
In addition to his parents, David was predeceased by his sister, Margaret "Peggy" Reome in 1990, and by his brother, Eric Campbell in 2012.
Surviving are his son, David of Mattydale; his wife Mary E. Burton; siblings: Karen (Rucker) Spruill of Mattydale, Jeff Burton of Syracuse, Max Spicer of Rochester, and Chris Campbell of Mattydale; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services are Monday, 2:00 pm at Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse.
