Harold C. Bush, Jr., 57, of North Syracuse, has been called to join his Lord God Tuesday. He goes with his skills of carpentry with tools in hand for his final task ahead: building with his Jesus, the family home for his beloved wife and family.
Harold was a 1972 graduate of Cicero High School and attended BOCES. He later joined the Carpenters Union Local #747, 36 years ago to secure his craft in carpentry. He began his career building bridges in Syracuse and Nine Mile Point. Harold moved on with his carpentry skills to employment with Hueber-Breuer – Pompey Construction family to whom he proudly served for over 27 wonderful years as a project superintendent. A devoted, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Harold, a man of quick wit, wisdom, with an infectious laugh and an enjoyable sense of humor. A man of his word, convicted in his ways and staunch in his beliefs. Whether it was with earth or wood, Harold enjoyed creating for his loving wife and family. As a father, he passed on his wisdom, skills and kindness to both his children and grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife: Nazarah "Cher" Bush; their four children: Rachelle Mark Salmonsen of Jordan, James Joy Bush of Camillus, Nazarah K. James Doughty of Willet, NY, and Chastity Jim Hoblet of Clay; a closely regarded brother: David Kittie Bush of Palermo; and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4-8pm, Friday, at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Services will begin on Saturday, 10 am, at the funeral home followed by burial in North Syracuse Cemetery.
