Nicholas Carno SR.

Nicholas J. Carno, Sr., 70, of Mattydale, died Monday, March 23 with his family surrounding him with love and prayers.
He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Carmella Carno, his beloved daughter, Theresa Anne Angona, brothers: Joseph and Michael, and sister: Louise Cavanaugh. Nick was a member of St. Margaret's Church and he considered it his second family. He served them long and well.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Thompson; children: Nicholas Marla Carno, Sandra Michael Crosby, and Ron Teresa Angona; his grandsons: Justin Dee Bartorillo, Ryan Danielle Bartorillo, Nicholas and Phillip Carno, Andrew, Nathan and Daniel Crosby; great grandchildren: Karlee and Joshua Angona, Kiera Meneilly, Justin Bartorillo and Logan Duffy. Also surviving are his sisters: Theresa Sam Cimilluca and Barbara Bruce Churchill; sisters-in-law: Mary Anne Cogliandro, Lee Carno and Ginny Carno; as well as many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved dearly.
Friends may call Thursday from 4-8pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Road, Mattydale. Prayer will begin Friday, 10:15am in the funeral home followed by an 11:00am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret's Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
