Carole M. Crough

Carole M. Crough, 85, born July 1, 1939, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Hospital after a long illness. A native of the Northside of Syracuse, she was a 1956 graduate of North Syracuse High School. Carole was an avid bingo player and enjoyed going to craft shows and shops to find just the right touches to enhance the decorating vision for her home. Carole’s greatest joy was her family. She was immensely proud of her children and grandchildren. She loved them unconditionally. Carole was a communicant of St. Margaret’s Church in Mattydale and Pope John XXII Church in Liverpool.

Surviving is her husband of 64 years, Michael F. Crough, Jr.; children: Michele (Mark) Knaul of Apalachin, NY, Steven (Joan Koral) Crough of Cicero, and Melissa (William) Timmons of Kirkville; her six grandchildren: Erin, Lindsay and Patrick Knaul, Matthew (Kelsey) Crough, and Courtney and Sean Timmons; and one great grandchild, Hallie.

Graveside services will be held Monday, April 21st, at 11:00 am at Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse.
