Ann F. Carroll, 90, of North Syracuse, died Saturday at Elderwood at Liverpool. Ann grew up in the St. Lawrence County area where she graduated from Massena High School in 1946. She was the daughter of the late Edgar and Florence (Duffy) Forrester. Ann resided at 318 Millen Drive for 50 years before moving to Pitcher Hill Apartments.
She retired in 1994 after 15 years as a data entry operator for BlueCross BlueShield of CNY. Ann was a member of Civic Social Senior Group and the Happy Times Seniors of St. Rose of Lima. Ann was a voracious reader and enjoyed keeping up with her family and friends on FaceBook. She attended Our Lady of Pompei and St. Rose of Lima Church.
Ann is survived by her five daughters: Judith (James) Shearer of Binghamton, Patricia (David) Hill of Minoa, Mary (Sam) Geiss of Cicero, Jane (Chris Herzog) Berical of Clay, Barbara (Tony) Lenkiewicz of Syracuse; a son, Robert (Michael Wood) Carroll of Washington, DC; 9 grandchildren: Kristy, Julie, Bryan, Michael, Allison, Jay, Amanda, Matthew, Katie; and by 11 great grandchildren: Tyler, Jackson, Emma, Marissa, Samantha, Joey, Nicholas, Elizabeth, Avery, Alexandra, and Norah.
The family would like to thank all of her caregivers at Elderwood Nursing Home especially Steven, Kiki, Linda, Cathy, Stephanie. Amanda, Jen, and Tanyqua.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Prayer Services will begin Thursday, 9:15 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Rose of Lima Church in North Syracuse. Burial will be in North Syracuse cemetery.
