Larry Cayea

Larry E. Cayea, 59, life resident of Mattydale, died Tuesday, September 28. Larry was a graduate of North Syracuse High School and the son of the late Earl J. and Doris M. VanSlyke Cayea.
Larry worked as a machine operator for Anaren in East Syracuse for the past six years. Prior to that, he worked for several years at B.G. Sulzle Needle and New Process Gear. He was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings and a proud supporter of the Pop Warner Mattydale Vikings. Larry loved softball and had played for many years.
Surviving are his four sons: Mike Michelle of Mattydale with whom he resided and his mother: Diane Tedd; Christian Julie Timlin of North Syracuse, Chad Mandy of Liverpool, Adam of North Syracuse, and their mother: Vicki; a sister: Sheila Joey Foglietti Sellin of Mattydale; his brother: Earl Terry of Mattydale; and five grandchildren, Michael, Angelina, C.J., Anthony and Evan.
Friends may call Friday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Services will begin on Saturday, 10:15 am at the funeral home followed by an 11 am Mass at St. Margaret's Church. Burial will be at a later date in St. Francis Xavier's, Marcellus. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to help the family offset funeral expenses to Krueger Funeral Home.
