Francis A. Cerio
February 21, 2006 Francis A. Cerio, 83, of Mattydale, died Tuesday at James Square Nursing Home. Mr. Cerio was a distributor for Stella Dora Cookies in Syracuse for 25 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, serving in the Pacific Theatre, and was a communicant of St. Margaret's Church. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, the former Pauline Ann Racculia; two sons, Michael Rebecca Cerio of Indianapolis, IN, and Frank Dawn Cerio of Clay; two daughters, Paula Shuba of Baldwinsville and Lucille Bean-Slade of Hurst, TX; one brother, John Cerio of Liverpool; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Krueger Funeral Home, Inc., Mattydale, and 10 a.m. in St. Margaret's Church, Mattydale. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse.
