Albert A. Ciarpelli Sr., 95, of Mattydale, passed away peacefully at his home on January 24, 2022 with his loving family by his side. Albert served in the United States Army during WWII in the Italian Campaign. He was retired from Allied Chemical in Jamesville, after 38 years.
Albert loved riding his Harley Davidson, was an avid Yankee fan, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also found pleasure helping all his children with his “handyman knowledge.”
He was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Jennie (Pestillo) Ciarpelli. He is survived by six children and their spouses: Albert (Cindy) Ciarpelli, Paul (Marcia) Ciarpelli, Danny Ciarpelli, Bonnie Fischer, Lorraine (Mike) Drake, and Kathleen (Max) Carnley.
He was loved dearly by his seven grandchildren: Eddie (Annette) Fischer of Liverpool, Melissa (Ray) Szymanoski of Cicero, Dustin (Janay) Carnley of Arizona, Jennie (Colby) Hutcherson of Texas, Antonia Carnley of Texas, Jamie (Ryan) Groves of Florida, and Jonathan Ciarpelli of Florida. Albert was also blessed with twelve great grandchildren.
Friends may call on Saturday from 9:00 -10:00 am at St. Margaret’s Church, 203 Roxboro Rd., Mattydale. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 am at church with burial following in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.
