Jeanne Coffey

Jeanne F. Coffey, 86, Of Orchard Dr. West, Pitcher Hill, died Friday at the Syracuse Home Association, Baldwinsville. A native of Syracuse, she was a long time resident of Pitcher Hill, North Syracuse. Jeanne was the daughter of the late Martin and Mary Fish and graduated from St. Anthony's School in Syracuse.
She spent most of her working career in Communications at the New York Telephone Company and the Carrier Corporation until her retirement in 1978. Jeanne was a communicant of St. Margaret's Church, a former member of its Altar Rosary Society and volunteered at many of the church functions.
Jeanne will be forever remembered by her devoted husband of 64 years Donald A., her children Suzanne M. of Baldwinsville, and Donald M. of Crestview, FL, her grandchildren Matthew, and Beth Michael, her great grandson Jacob, along with countless other family and friends who have been blessed to have known her.
As per Jeanne wishes a service of remembrance will begin at 9:30 am Wednesday at Krueger Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Margaret's Church. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum, Dewitt. Friends may call from 9 to 9:30 prior to the service at the funeral home 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jeanne's memory to the Syracuse Home Association 7740 Meigs Rd. Baldwinsville, NY 13027 or a charity of your choice.
