Mary Collins

Mary C. Collins, 84, died peacefully Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by her family. Mary was a native of Syracuse and resided in Mattydale for over 50 years. She was the daughter of the late Hugh and the Belle O'Neil.
Mary was a graduate of St. Lucy's High School and was happiest when she had a deck of cards in her hand. She loved playing bingo and any card game. She was a communicant of St. Margaret's Church in Mattydale for more than 50 years.
Mary was predeceased by her husband, Robert Collins, Sr. in 2004.
Surviving are her daughter: Kathy Collins of North Syracuse; her son: Bob Chris Collins Jr. of Cleveland; and her six grandchildren: Jamie McKay; Heather and Erica Collins; and Steven, Michael, & Brian Limberg.
Friends may call Thursday from 4-7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home Inc., 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Prayer will begin at 9:30am; Friday at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Margaret's Church. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery.
