Deno G. Constantine, 82, of Davenport, FL, and Syracuse, NY, passed away Thursday, June 4, at University Hospital. Deno grew up on the South side of Syracuse where he graduated from Vocational High School. He was the son of the late Aristides and Chrsyoula (Manara) Constantine.
Deno was a US Navy Veteran who operated a Ham Radio under the call signal K2JHG. He owned and operated Gal-Vil Hair Salon in Liverpool for many years. While in Florida, Deno was a ranger at the golf course at the Orlando World Center Marriott and worked at Disney World. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He was artistic especially in his drawing and enjoyed gardening, building and constructing. Deno was a former parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Liverpool.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, the former Josephine "Joy" Calogero; their three children: Theresa (Dave Simmons) Constantine of Syracuse, Joy (Bill) Seal of NC and Deno (Mary) Constantine of KY; five grandchildren: Aubrey (Josh) Rader of PA, Adam Seal of NC, Rhett and Chrissa Constantine of KY, and Althea Simmons of Syracuse; his sister, Ethel Kelly of Liverpool; a brother, John Constantine of Syracuse; several nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

Friends may call on Monday from 5 - 9 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary, 425 Beechwood Ave., Liverpool, NY.
