Marion J. Cook, 92, of Madison County, passed away Wednesday, October 27th at home. Marion grew up in the Valley area of Syracuse and resided on Carlton Drive in Pitcher Hill for the past 25 years before moving with her daughter and grandson to Madison County. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Marion (Dyselin) Turner.
Marion retired in 1979 after 20 years as a Machine Operator at Continental Can Company in Syracuse. She was previously employed by Visiting Nurses of CNY for 13 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Marion enjoyed bowling and was on various leagues in the Syracuse area. She was a communicant of St. Margaret's Church in Mattydale.
She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Donald F. Cook in 2017, daughter, Debbie Cook, son-in-law, Jerry Fischer, and brother-in-law, Robert Cook.
Marion is survived by her five children: Eileen (Perry) Kelly of North Syracuse, Donald (Susan) Cook, Jr. of Syracuse, Debbie A. Fischer of Madison County, Cindy Menzer of Syracuse, and Robin (Jon) Fox of Texas; 10 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale, with a Funeral Service following at 12:00 noon. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, Dewitt.
