William Crouse

November 23, 1950 — January 15, 2006

William A. ?Bill? Crouse, 55, of 403 E. Molloy Road, Mattydale, died Sunday at St. Joseph?s Hospital. Born in Syracuse, he was a 1968 graduate of Central Tech High School and attended Mohawk Valley Community College. He was employed for 34 years at Bell Atlantic/AT&T SBC as a Service Manager. Bill loved life and brought joy and humor into the lives of all he met. He always had a smile on his face and could talk to anyone about anything, and make them feel special. He was an avid sports fan who loved coaching youth baseball and soccer. He took great pride in watching his son play hockey. He enjoyed playing golf, talking sports, traveling, and spending time with his family. He was always looking for ?a little something to eat? and loved his mothers chocolate chip cookies. He was well liked among his co-workers and always willing to lend a hand or answer a question. Those he left will cherish his memory and the joy he brought into their lives. He was a wonderful, supportive, loving husband, father, son and brother. He was predeceased by his father, William A. Crouse. Bill is survived by his wife of nine years, Mechelle Hulse Crouse; son, Joel W. Crouse of Oswego; stepson, Shawn Peak of Mattydale; mother, Gloria Dussey Crouse; sister, Mickayla John Wheeler; brother, Ron Patty Crouse all of New Smyrna Beach, FL; several nieces and nephews, Cassie, Baylee, Cole and Emma Crouse all of Florida. Services will be 10 am Saturday at the Krueger Funeral Home 2619 Brewerton Rd. Mattydale, Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Assoc., Upstate NY Chapter, 5575 Thompson Road, Syracuse, NY 13214-1693.
