Suzanne Crowe

Suzanne M. Carroll Crowe, 66, of Skiff Drive, Mattydale, passed away Thursday at Francis House in Syracuse. Suzanne was a native of Syracuse and was the daughter of the late Francis Carroll and Mary Tracy.
She graduated from North Syracuse High School in 1960 then earned an Associates Degree from Powelson Institute. Suzanne worked at St. Mary?s Hospital in the lab and medical records department and was later employed at Lincoln Bank where she met her husband, George Crowe Jr. Upon the birth of her children, she became a devoted homemaker. Suzanne was a communicant of St. Margaret?s Church, an advisor for the C.Y.O., and an avid bingo supporter.
Suzanne was predeceased by her husband of 34 years, George Crowe, Jr., in 1997 and her brother Robert Carroll in 2006. Surviving are her daughters; Tracy Jim Gianopoulos, Holly Bob Ortolani, and Mary Ann Mark Goettel, her four grandchildren; Nick Gianopoulos, Vinny Ortolani, and Brianna and Emily Goettel, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends may call from 1 to 4 pm Sunday at the funeral home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Funeral services are Monday, 10:30 am at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Margaret?s Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. The family wishes to express their gratitude to all of the doctors, staff and friends at St. Joseph?s Hospital and Francis House.
