Harry C. Davis, 89, of Syracuse, passed away Saturday at Van Duyn Center. Harry resided on Alpine Drive in Dewitt for 23 years prior to moving to Syracuse to live with his daughter. He was the son of the late Lyda and Gerald Davis.
He was a US Naval Veteran serving aboard the USS Helena. Harry retired in 1982 after 34 years as the night manager at the Hotel Syracuse. He was a former member of Our Lady of Solace Church in Syracuse.
Harry was predeceased by his wife of over 50 years, the former Anne McDonald, in 2008.
He is survived by their three children: Gerald Davis of Syracuse, Patrick (Becky) Davis of Dayton, OH, and Barb (Ron) Christ of Syracuse; a sister: Jean Lynch of CA; and his three grandchildren: Bianca, Justine, and Sean.

Friends may call on Wednesday day from 4 - 7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. A Prayer Service will begin on Thursday, 9:30 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Syracuse.
