Dawn M. Brown

Dawn M. Brown, 58, of Mattydale, passed away Sunday, October 13th, 2024 unexpectedly after a fatal car accident. A native of Eastwood, Dawn attended North Syracuse Central Schools with the class of 1984.

Dawn worked at Excellus BlueCross BlueShield in East Syracuse as an enrollment specialist for the past 15 years. She was a sales representative for Young Living Essential Oils and enjoyed traveling to Florida and South Carolina. She loved the water, a good sunset, and taking care of her family.

Dawn was predeceased by her father, Bernard Brown in 1997 and her brother, Travis, in 2015.

She is survived by two children, Kandyce Hazard and Zerrie Brown, both of Mattydale and their father, Larry Hazard; her mother, Lana Brown of Mattydale; a granddaughter, Jase Hazard; her three nieces: Shaylee, Lana, and Skyla; and a great niece, Roxanne.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Funeral Services will begin on Wednesday, 11:00 am, at the funeral home with burial in White Chapel Cemetery, Dewitt, following.
