James DeLine

James E. DeLine, 65, of Petaluma CA, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 31.
He was born and raised in Syracuse and graduated from North Syracuse High School in 1960. He was also a graduate of Nebraska State University. Jim spent many years teaching, living, and traveling throughout the U.S. and Mexico. He and his wife, Linda, sailed the sea of Cortez for two years.
Jim was predeceased by his brother, Richard DeLine.
Jim is survived by his wife, Linda, of CA, his son, Jeffrey DeLine and daughter Teri Meyer both of NE. Locally, he is survived by his brother, Charles, his two sisters; Linda DeLine and Suzanne Goodell. He is also survived by his grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no services locally. Contributions may be made to the Humane Association of Central NY, 4915 West Taft Road, Liverpool NY 13088.
