Howard J. DeMarco, 92, of Clay, passed away Thursday, August 27th. Howard was born in Syracuse and was the son of the late Joseph and Evelyn (Dailey) DeMarco.
He was a veteran of World War II serving as a Merchant Marine in the US Coast Guard. Howard retired in 1985 after 29 years as an inspector for Carrier Corporation. He enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching country western movies.
Howard was predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Marion Crowe, an infant son, Jerry, and his sister, June Sutton.
Surviving are his three children: Kathleen Austin of Baldwinsville, Howie (Sandy) DeMarco of Fulton, and Victoria Raulli of Liverpool; six grandchildren: Marie, Patrick, Erin, Danielle, Scott and Julie; and great seven grandchildren: Macenzie, Kayleigh, Justin, Jack, Casey, Kelly and Aiden.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 10 am - 12 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, Mattydale. Prayers will begin at 12 pm followed by 1:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial at St. Stephen's Church. Burial will be in Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse.
