Diana M. Procopio

Our most beautiful, perfect, precious angel went to meet the Lord God on March 28^th. Diana M. Procopio (Crowley), 84, was born on the North Side of Syracuse to the late George Frederick and Anna (Bamberger) Crowley. Diana was a graduate of North High School and resided in Mattydale since 1965.

She was the Court Clerk and longtime friend of Judge Helen Burnham working for the Town of Salina Court for more than 27 years before retiring.

She was a Communicant of St. Margaret’s Church and for many years a dedicated volunteer to the church and also volunteered at Francis House. Diana loved most spending time with her family, both immediate and extended. She made countless friends and was loved by so many throughout her life. She touched the heart of everyone she came in contact with and truly cared about and helped everyone.

She enjoyed her time spent at Southwick Beach on Lake Ontario and her Silver Sneakers exercise class and made wonderful friends there. She loved playing Bingo and was an avid Pitch player. Diana loved animals, especially her cats she and her husband adopted over the years. All wildlife that ventured into her backyard were welcome.

Diana was predeceased by two sisters, Carol Molis and Ann Sanford.

She leaves on this earth to cherish her beautiful memory her husband of 67 years, James M. Procopio; their two children, Jim (Julie) Procopio of Georgetown and Joann (Paul) Scarsciotti of East Syracuse; her two sisters, Maryann (John) D’Alessio of Fairmount and Caron (Terry) Scherer of Penn Yan; her grandchildren, Chelsea Procopio and Brandon Wright; and several loving nieces and nephews.
