John M. Dolmanet, 37, of Oneida, died Friday suddenly as a result of a motorcycle accident. John was born in Flemington, NJ, and grew up in the South Texas and Hamilton NY areas. He had previously resided in Maryland for several years.
John was a 1990 graduate of Hamilton Central High and received his Bachelor?s Degree in Business Administration from SUNY Brockport in 1994. He worked at Turning Stone Casino and Resort in Verona for the past three years as the Human Resources Assistant Manager. John was very active in outdoor activities; he loved to hunt, fish, golf and play beach volleyball. He also enjoyed skiing, skating and pick up hockey in Maryland and Watertown. John and his son, Gage, enjoyed riding bikes together. He attended St. John?s Episcopal Church in Oneida.
Surviving are his son: Gage and his mother, Michele Dolmanet, of Adams, NY; his parents, William and Elizabeth Burd Dolmanet of Charlotte , NC; seven siblings: Fritz Dolmanet, Mark Audino, Greg Audino, Mea Kleinschrodt, Hope Egidio, Bill Dolmanet, and Jim Dolmanet; a paternal grandmother, Mary Dolmanet; and his girlfriend, Sherry Wlodarski.
Friends may call on Thursday from 5-9 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Funeral services will begin on Friday, 10 am at the funeral home followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Hamilton.
