Thomas A. Donahue, 68, of North Syracuse, passed away from a sudden illness on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, while hiking at the Salmon River Falls. Thomas grew up in North Syracuse where he resided most of his life. He also resided in Mattydale for a number of years. Tom was a graduate of Assumption Academy in 1967 and the son of the late Alfred and Betty Donahue.
He worked at Best Tile in East Syracuse for the past 10 years. Tom was formerly employed by Marine Midland Bank Computer Center. He was an avid S.U. fan and also enjoyed the NY Giants, the NY Yankees, and the Buffalo Bills. Tom loved the great outdoors including hiking and fishing. He was a fan of local music frequently attended concerts in the area.
Tom is survived by his siblings, Jerry Donahue of North Syracuse and Deborah (Harold) Mosher of Clay; a son; a daughter; five grandchildren; and his two nephews, David (Theresa) Mosher of Columbus, OH and Michael (Jason Saville) Mosher of Auburn.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00 - 6:30 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale, with a funeral service following at 6:30 pm.
