Dorothy I. Duplessis, 93, of Cicero, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 at The Cottages at Garden Grove. Dorothy grew up in Westvale and was the daughter of the late Lewis and Pearl (Johnson) White. She resided in the North Syracuse area for 50 years and wintered in Florida during the 1980's. Dorothy then moved to Central Square where she lived for 10 years before settling in Cicero in September 2017.
She worked as a clerk at C.E. Chappel's in Northern Lights for 5 years during the late 1960's. Dorothy loved to crochet and knit. She was an avid seamstress and also enjoyed gardening. Dorothy traveled throughout the U.S. with her mother and then later with her husband in their R.V.
She was predeceased by her husband of 70 years, Joseph J. Duplessis, in 2018 and a grandson, Jamie Duplessis in 2009.
Dorothy is survived by two daughters: Joyce Sauter of North Syracuse, Patricia (Bill) Burnham of Cicero, and Robert (Loreen) Duplessis of Fulton; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and by a great great granddaughter.

Friends may call on Monday from 1-2 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Funeral Services will follow at 2 pm. Private burial will be in Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse.
