Jacquin "Jackie" W. Egenhofer, 72, of Garden City Drive, Mattydale passed away Tuesday at home with her family by her side. Jackie was a native of Alexandria Bay before moving to Mattydale and residing there for 45 years. She spent her winters in Bradenton, Florida for the past 20 years and she was the daughter of the late Gene and Mary E. Wagoner.
Jackie enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren, traveling the country with her husband, and sewing beautiful quilts. She was a communicant of St. Margaret's Church in Mattydale.
Jackie is survived by her husband of 50 years, William Egenhofer; her daughter: Jean Egenhofer of Mattydale, her two sons: Jerry Christel Egenhofer of Pulaski, and Paul Sandra Egenhofer of Littleton, CO; her four sisters: Miriam Strough, Eunice Cali, Eugenia Kavanaugh, and Madelyn Hartman, all of Alexandria Bay, NY; and her four grandchildren, Jerry, John, Rebekkah, & Matthew.
There will be no calling hours. Mass will be on Saturday, 11am at St. Cyril's Church, 14 Rock Street, Alexandria Bay, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY, 990 Seventh North Street, Liverpool NY 13088.
