Donald Eugene Evans, 87, went to his heavenly home on April 17, 2021 in Snowflake, Arizona with his family. Don graduated from Morrisville College, served in the US Army/Army Reserves for 27 years and worked at Crouse Hinds/Cooper Industries as a New Development planner for 35 years. He also worked for Young & Franklin for an additional five years.
Don’s passion was barbershop music. He was a 58-year member of Barbershop Harmony Society, singing tenor in choruses in both Syracuse and Florida. His quartet “Sound Advice” was the Seneca Land District Champion in 1986. He also was an avid naturalist, being able to identify countless plants and insects. Don was a member of the Baldwinsville Moose Lodge and a life member of the Phoenix V.F.W. He was a volunteer at the Syracuse V.A. Medical Center with more than 15,000 hours of time accumulated.
Don was predeceased by his first wife of 42 years, Janet (Cornell) Evans and his siblings, David Evans and Barbara Evans.
He is survived by his son, Gene (Tish) Evans and his current wife of 19 years, Lois Evans, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren, and cousins.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 12th in Faith Journey United Methodist Church, 8396 Morgan Road in Clay.
