Bernice C. Fadden, 96, of North Syracuse, died Sunday at home. A native of Syracuse, Bernice was raised on the Northside where she graduated from North High and attended Business School. She was the daughter of the late Clara (Pikarsky) and William W. Worlock, Sr.
Bernice worked as a legal secretary for many years and also at the Hotel Syracuse and several retail stores in downtown Syracuse. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed camping especially at Lake George and Lake Ontario with her family for many years. Bernice had a tradition of having Sunday dinners with her family. She was a communicant of St. Margaret's Church in Mattydale and a member of their Altar Rosary Society.
Bernice was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, William L. Fadden, Sr., in 2002 and by her son, William L. Fadden, Jr. in 2013.
She is survived by her son: Michael J. Fadden, with whom she resided; a daughter-in-law, Margaret (Jaquin) Fadden of Liverpool; her four grandchildren: Timothy, Amy, Colleen, and Mary; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Sunday from 2-4 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale, NY. A prayer service will begin on Monday, 9:30 am at the funeral home followed by a 10 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret's Church. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, Dewitt.
