Sharon L. Fiss/Capozzi

Sharon L. Fiss/Capozzi, 65, resident of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday, March 16th at her home. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Sharon grew up in New York City and resided in the Syracuse area since 1986.

Sharon was predeceased by her mother, Jean Fiss and by a brother, Mitchell Fiss.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Nicola “Mike” Capozzi; two daughters, Jovan (Ricky) Collins of Syracuse and Jennifer Thompson of Port Byron; her father, Lee Fiss of West Chester; two sisters, Robin (Keith) Wiedemann of Florida and Laura (Gordon) Fischer of East Syracuse; five grandchildren; a great grandchild; an unofficially adopted son and great friend, Jeffrey Thompson of Mattydale; and by several nieces and nephews.
