Colleen (Corcoran, Wilcox) Flask, 70, lifelong resident of Pitcher Hill, died Tuesday September 26th at home surrounded by her family. Colleen was the daughter of the late William J. and Norma (Hunter) Corcoran and a 1965 graduate of Liverpool High.
She graduated from the Central Tech Nursing Program and worked at St. Joseph's Hospital for three years. She also worked part time at various nursing homes. Colleen retired in 2002 after 23 years as an Administrative Assistant for Carrier Corporation. She loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed her time fishing and traveling in the Adirondacks and was an avid Yankee and Syracuse University fan. Colleen attended St. Margaret's Church in Mattydale.
Colleen is survived by her husband of 34 years, Richard Flask; two daughters: Tracey Wilcox of Liverpool and Michelle (Bill) Lonkey of Warners; two step-children: Kevin (Janice) Flask of Gibbstown, NJ and Wendy (Tim Arnold) Flask of Jacksonville, FL; a brother: Timothy (Sharon) Corcoran of Baldwinsville; 8 grandchildren: Adam, Ryan, Devon, Bobby, Jonathon, Derek, Kyle, and Nathan; her great grandson, Derek John; and a niece, Carrie (Rachel Wood) Corcoran.
Friends may call on Friday from 4-7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. A Prayer service will begin Saturday, 8:30 am at the funeral home followed by a 9:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret's Church, 203 Roxboro Rd., Mattydale. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.
