Christopher "Spank" M. Fotheringham, 35, formerly of Cicero, died Tuesday unexpectedly at home. Christopher was a native of Liverpool and grew up on Florian Way before moving to Cicero several years ago.
Christopher was a 1992 graduate of Christian Brother Academy and attended Canisius College. He was a member of the US Marine Corps who served in Iwa Kuni, Japan. Christopher was employed in the sales department of AT&T for six years and mostly recently at CXtec in the customer service department. He attended Sacred Heart Church in Cicero.
He was predeceased by his sister, Anne Marie, in 2006.
Surviving are his adoring children: Skylar Elizabeth and Gavin Christopher, and their mother, the former Susan Niles; beloved son of Lt. Col. Herbert and Patricia Fotheringham of Brevard, NC; his two sisters: Lauren Jim Tilton of Cicero, and Mary Beth Fotheringham of Brevard, NC; three brothers: Michael Karin of North Augustus, GA, Thomas of Kuwait, and Richard Simone of Liverpool, NY; and many nieces and nephews including his god daughter, Patricia Tilton.
Friends may call on Friday from 4-8pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Road, Mattydale. Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 10am in Sacred Heart Church, Cicero.
