Gary Fox

Gary D. Fox, 60, of North Syracuse, died Sunday at St. Joseph?s Hospital. A native of Syracuse, Gary resided in the Mattydale and North Syracuse areas all his life and was the son of the late Robert L. Fox and Ruth Harke.
Gary was a 1965 graduate of North Syracuse High School and was employed as a dispatcher for Onondaga County Fire control for 12 years before his retirement in 1989. He was a member of the Mattydale Volunteer Fire Department and formerly was the Assistant Chief. Gary attended Believer?s Chapel Church in Cicero.
He is survived by his son, Robert V. Fox, his daughter, Danelle N. Fox, and their mother, Paula Fox, all of Mattydale.
Friends may call 4-7 pm Friday at Krueger Funeral Home 2619 Brewerton Rd. Mattydale. Services are at 1pm Saturday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made in Gary?s name to the Mattydale Volunteer Fire Dept., 173 East Molloy Road, Mattydale, NY 13211.
