Barbara Frost

Barbara A. Frost, 68, of Danforth Street in Syracuse, died Monday at her home. She was the daughter of the late Earl A. and Catherine Frost and was born and raised in Flint, Michigan.
Barbara served in the United State Marine Corps for two years before moving to Syracuse in 1960. She was employed as a secretary with the Research Foundation of SUNY Health Science Center in Syracuse for the past 17 years. Prior to that, she worked as an activities coordinator for Nationwide Insurance Company in Liverpool. Barbara volunteered for many years with Junior Achievement of CNY. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Surviving are her two sons: Michael Tammy Argus of Clay, and Donald Michele LaMana Argus of Weedsport; her daughter: Cynthia Ryan Alan O'Connor of Brewerton; two sisters: Mary Sabo of MI, Leona Lovejoy of GA; six grandchildren: Donielle Argus, Jessica O'Connor, Sarah Argus, Emilee Argus, Joshua Argus, and Zachary O'Connor; as well as several nieces & nephews.
Friends may call Monday from 4-7pm at Krueger Funeral Home Inc., 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Services are Monday at 7:00pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to SUNY Upstate Medical University Foundation, 750 East Adams Street, CAB 326, Syracuse NY 13210.
