Barbara Furgal

Barbara J. Furgal, died Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital followed a brief illness. Barbara was a native of Smithfield TX and resided in Cicero for the past 21 years.
Barbara retired in 2003 after 15 years as a store manager of Staples and OfficeMax office supply. Prior to that she worked for the Episcopalian Diocese in Syracuse. She attended Sacred Heart Church in Cicero.
Surviving are her husband of 35 years John R. Furgal, a daughter Stephanie Edward Cusato III of Syracuse, a son Christopher Furgal of Euless TX, a granddaughter Cailey Cusato, three sisters Millie Pack and Shirley Anderson both of Texas, Juanita Kramer of Nevada, a brother Allen of Texas, her mother-in-law Shirley Furgal of Mattydale, several brothers and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 pm Tuesday at the Krueger Funeral Home 2619 Brewerton Rd. Mattydale; followed by a funeral service at 7 pm at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association PO Box 3049 Syracuse, NY 13220.
